The Office of the Children’s Advocate (OCA) is mobilising resources to secure legal representation for children who have been detained under the State of Emergency in St James.
Children’s Advocate Diahann Gordon Harrison has declared this a necessity in light of reports her office has received.
So far, more than 100 people have been detained under the State of Emergency and the number is expected to climb.
