Jamaica’s Children’s Advocate has intervened in the case involving the 14 year-old boy who was allegedly held with a gun in downtown Kingston on Saturday.
A team from the Advocate the Office of the Children’s Advocate (OCA) will investigate his arrest on Monday.
It was normal in circumstances like this for the OCA to ensure that legal representation is available to the minor and that inquiries are made into the conditions of his detention, Children’s Advocate Diahann Gordon Harrison told RJR News.
